Pittsburgh, PA! Pittsburgh has undergone a striking renaissance from a down-and-out smokestack to a gleaming cultural oasis. But old stereotypes die hard, and Pittsburgh probably doesn’t make many people’s short list for a cosmopolitan getaway. Dear Pittsburgh Promoter:

Hello and welcome to PittsburghWillSteelYourHeart.com! My name is Joanne Sujansky and I LOVE PITTSBURGH!  I speak so often about our great city that my clients have fondly referred to me as The Ambassador of Pittsburgh.

This city is where I live, work, and play and--hopefully--where I will eventually (when I'm 90, perhaps) retire. There is a beauty, a vibrant spirit, a diverse and dazzling culture in Pittsburgh that I have never found in any other location in the U.S.

Why did I start this website? Quite simply, I want to share the good news about Pittsburgh to the best of my ability--to businesses, to tourists, and to future and current residents. This is my very own "grassroots effort" and I need your help. You can promote Pittsburgh in a number of ways.

First, visit this website often. It is a work in progress and even I don't know what material will appear in its links. One thing's for sure: if we all work together, we can get the real story out about the city of Pittsburgh. Second, click here to order your PittsburghWillSteelYourHeart buttons. Wear them with pride. This is a great way to show your Pittsburgh pride to the world.

If you would like to get involved in "setting the world straight about Pittsburgh," I will be glad to help you brainstorm ways to help you, your company, or your civic organization promote Pittsburgh. You may have some ideas of your own to make this website take shape and flourish . . . and I would love to hear them.

I am very excited about helping Pittsburgh "steel" as many hearts as possible. Join me, won't you? An entire city will thank you for your efforts.
